About Charlie

Charlie Wells, RN, BSN, is an accomplished healthcare professional with over 25 years of industry experience, including direct patient care, telehealth network development, and enterprise sales. As VP of Business Development at AmplifyMD, Charlie spearheads growth initiatives, solving complex challenges for the nation’s leading health systems.

Charlie’s journey in healthcare began as a registered nurse, working in the ER and CICU. This clinical foundation gave him deep insights into the challenges faced by frontline healthcare providers, which still guide him today.

Prior to joining AmplifyMD, Charlie served as Telehealth Partnering and Strategy Director at Providence St. Joseph Health, where he led telemedicine expansion across seven states, driving system-wide adoption in diverse care settings. Previously, he spent time leading regional sales efforts at Isto Biologics and Acelity.

Outside of work, Charlie is an outdoor enthusiast, a dedicated husband, and proud father of two outstanding sons.
